La Roche Buissière is situated near Vaison-la-Romaine, in the south part of Côtes-du-Rhône. The family has been working in organic farming since 1975.
In 2000, when Antoine joined his father, he decided to start to vinify their own production. They quickly went to ask theirselves questions about vinification and especially natural wine of making wines. Through years of experience, great meetings with other winemakers, their wines are vinified naturally since 2004.
GRAPE VARIETY GRENACHE 70% SYRAH 30%
VINIFICATION Grapes are harvested manually. They are 100% destemmed. Fermentation lasts for 15 days, followed by 6-8 months in concrete. Wine is not filtered or fined before bottling. SOIL Limestone, clay and silt.
TASTING NOTES A juicy, fruity and succulent blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah, this is classic vin de soif – a wine that is thirst quenching in its drinkability.
